I am a career proofreader and editor with my own company, imPROOF, and I have helped numerous writers and companies throughout the years with their projects.

I have a love for language and love what I do best: proofreading and editing. With a background in advertising, writing, and copyediting, I offer you insight and provide action-oriented guidance. I help you uncover your highest priorities and redirect your talent and energy to move toward your goals, like eliminating common mistakes to make your manuscript more marketable or writing effective advertising copy.

With an eye for layout/design and armed with a degree in advertising, I worked as a Marketing Specialist, making sure my client's promotional material was of the highest quality. While attending UCLA, I worked as a Bruin Staff Copy Editor, and after receiving my B.A. in English, I worked as a Subtitle Editor for almost seven years. Increasingly more in demand as a freelance proofreader and editor, I took the leap into self-employment when I started my own proofreading and editing service, imPROOF.

As a proofreader, I "improof" my client's common spelling, grammar, and formatting mistakes. When editing, I offer insight with empathy and humor, opening up new perspectives and possibilities. Straightforward but very compassionate, my non-judgmental personality gently urges you to move forward by attaining focus and accountability to make your writing the best it can be.
